First Love: an Acrostic Poem

Fair and young, so
Innocent.
Ready to jump in,
Seriously. All the way in.
This must be the one. Your forever.

Light-headed and giddy, life’s a blissful blur.
Open your eyes. Please. Be
Very careful.
Evolve slowly, precious girl.

This post is in participation with the Group Blogging Experience, and this week’s topic is first love. I chose to write an acrostic poem instead of my typical blog post. If you want to blog with us, go to the GBE2 Facebook page and request to join the group. Everyone is welcome.

  2. Absolutely. Infatuation says now while love is patient and says we should wait.

  4. There is no girl, or boy, in the world that will listen to your wise and beautiful words.... until they've been there and done it. Just like we did, they think they know it all *grin*

  10. Love it! Haven't we all been there - and yet, somehow, even when we jump in, we survive.

  11. I love this! Evolving slowly would be wise for all of us, even those well past the first love age.
